About us

The Arabic Holiday Hub was initiated on the back of the pandemic to encourage students to spend their holidays in a healthy, fun and social environment rather than in front of gadgets.

Our Journey

In our first two years of running we had over 110 children attend our holiday clubs, but we took a leap of faith in Summer 2023 where we ran the club under Newham’s Holiday Activities & Food programme. Mainly targeting those children from a low privileged background, we had over 450 children apply to our provision and we were able to increase our offering to two sites. The aim of our holiday clubs is to give underprivileged students the skills and experiences that would not otherwise be available to them. Experiences include sailing, canoeing, enterprise, work experience, leading and more, while skills include: archery, cooking, crochet, Arabic and English calligraphy, and more.

Coupled with the above, we want our children to be the best version of themselves, as such our clubs complement the above experiences with collective, group-based activities like ball sports, arts and crafts, story telling, lego-making, bead making, sandwich making and more.

And last of all, we started off as a language school and we continue to provide language learning, and through our experience there’s nothing more enriching and rewarding then learning a language. Hence the third major component of our offering at our clubs is learning the Arabic language. This is through Arabic calligraphy or through learning to speak the language.

Our vision is to be a safe and developmental space where children can come, enjoy and learn to become the best versions of themselves. We love when parents tell us that their children look forward to coming to our provisions, and for a change, they don’t have to force the children out the door in the Morning.

Why Choose Us?

There’s many reasons to choose us which are listed below, but most importantly, if you’re looking for somewhere your child can learn, socialise and most importantly enjoy themselves during the holiday periods then our structured programmes are like no other.

An Enriching Programme
Before every programme our team gets together to decide how best we will bring out the best in the students that attend our provision. Every programme is well-thought out and deliberate, aimed at giving your child the best learning and fun experience. Our aim is to have every child want to come to club every Morning.
A Safe Environment For Your Children
Safety of your children is at the heart of all we do. To ensure this is the case we make sure our teachers are at least trained to Safeguarding level 1, and they are under the supervision of a Designated Safeguarding Lead. A number of our staff are also First Aid qualified and we have policies and procedures around safeguarding, data protection, child safety and more.
Inclusive and Accommodating Environment
All our clubs are inclusive. Whilst most of our attendees are usually from the BAME community, our clubs are open to anyone and everyone. This includes if your child has a special educational need, we’ll try our best to accommodate it with the budget we have. If we’re not able to then the least we’ll do is point you to another provision that might be able to.
Professionalism
All parents and students agree that they love the professionalism we serve with. Right from initial booking, right through to the end of club, we believe professionalism is one more thing that stands us apart from the rest.
Over a third of our students return to future clubs
Over a third of our students return again and again because they enjoyed it so much the first time. In fact, over 95% of parents and students surveyed said they’d come back if the club was run again.
